Sikh kids and their ways!

Have you ever spent some considerable time with kids?
Well ,being a teacher i get to do it almost everyday.
It can be heaven and hell at the same time...if u trust me n my words.

This new kid keeps coming to me n telling me repeatedly..ma'am ure sweet! :)
My response is usually like..Okay...thnx =O
Once i asked him...beta...y do u keep repeating that?
Now DAT ws da doomsday question for me..cos its answer left me speechless....
Pat comes the reply"...y......arent YOU sweet?":

During my first year of teaching...incidentally i didnt have any sikh kids in my class n i used to whine to other teachers about that and now
BY GOD'S GRACE I get atleast 1 every year...this year i hv been blessed from above....i.e. TWO sardar kids in the same class!=O
GOSH sikh kids r SOMETHING if you know what i mean!
*evil grin*
This 1 of them told me once how his father used 2 beat him black n blue wid his belt=S
I was appalled n when i mentioned this in the PTA meeting to his Dad...poor fellow was so embarassed because he was probably one of those sweetest dads around who wouldnt hit his kids.
The bewildered mom came to the rescue n said...Ma'am=O he has this habit of lying! :))

Another 1 came up to me to say...Ma'am mere godde wich dard ho riya see!=O (ma'am i have pain in my knee)
i didnt know whether 2 empathize or laugh out loud!=))

I guess enough of kiddie tales for today...as arnie said....
